allison is a writer and poet originally from lemont, illinois though she currently calls colorado home. she is a school psychologist because she wants to be and a writer because she needs to be. after losing her home in the the marshall fire of 2021, she began writing as a way to navigate post-traumatic stress and connect with others on a healing path of their own. she writes honestly on themes of trauma, grief, and mental health. more than anything, she wants you to know you’re going to be okay.

allison’s work has been published online (collective world) and in print (twenty bellows). her debut poetry collection walking out of wildfire is forthcoming in 2025.

she sells ‘wearable poetry’ featuring some of her favorite lines and is also available for poetry commissions and spoken word poetry performances.
